Do your chemistry tutors know the NESA (NSW Education Standards Authority) syllabus?
Yes. Our tutors specify which curriculum they teach, and the matching questionnaire lets you filter for HSC specifically. NSW senior students choose from a wide range of English, Mathematics, Science, and HSIE subjects. Extension subjects (Mathematics Extension 1 and 2, English Extension 1 and 2) are offered for top-tier students. Band 6 (90+) is the target for most stretch students.
Is chemistry tutoring worth it for Year 11, or should I wait until Year 12?
Starting in Year 11 is generally much more effective. Year 11 chemistry builds the foundation for Year 12, and catching up in Year 12 while also learning new content is significantly harder than getting strong in Year 11 first.
Can an online tutor really help with chemistry? Don't I need hands-on practicals?
