Is chemistry tutoring worth it for Year 11, or should I wait until Year 12?
Starting in Year 11 is generally much more effective. Year 11 chemistry builds the foundation for Year 12, and catching up in Year 12 while also learning new content is significantly harder than getting strong in Year 11 first.
Can an online tutor really help with chemistry? Don't I need hands-on practicals?
Yes — practical work happens in the school lab, but the theoretical content, calculations, and exam preparation (which is what exams test) translate perfectly to online tutoring.
